The museum covers 3,500 square meters, 3,000 of which are permanent, containing works by artists from 80 different nations as well as post-war Neapolitan artists. The purpose of the museum team is for it to be a cultural, stimulating and lively point of reference so that it can be a place for meeting and exchange, also thanks to cultural programs and initiatives aimed at visitors. In addition to the works of painting, sculpture, photography, video, multimedia art and installations, the visitor can understand and approach contemporary art in a simple and engaging way. Inside there is also a room permanently dedicated to the fight against the Camorra named after Roberto Saviano, a living journalist and writer.
