Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, 00144 ROMA

Sant'Anselmo all'Aventino

In neo-Romanesque style, it was consecrated in 1900 and has a structure with three naves. The ancient crypt below the church is now a library. Built on a domus from the 2nd/3rd century AD, from which comes the mosaic of the Myth of Orpheus, preserved in the monastery with which the church forms the Primaziale Abbey of the Benedictines. The international college dedicated to Sant'Anselmo is annexed to the church.
